Contract EE support

Role

At Cargo Robotics, we’re looking for a contract electrical engineer to support our early-stage robotics team as we develop and iterate on our automated cargo bay system. We're looking for someone available for quick-turn troubleshooting during the day when urgent issues arise (electrical bugs in prototype hardware, etc.). We’d also love to have this person regularly review our electrical system design—including architecture, components, connectors, and PCB readiness—and help improve or rework elements as needed.

We estimate around 10-15 hours per week to start and are open to someone eventually taking ownership of the full electrical system. This person’s experience should include circuit design & schematic capture, mixed signal design and sensor integration, power distribution, motor drivers & actuator control, and transitioning from off-the shelf hardware and breadboards to custom PCBs with production-grade microcontrollers.

Our team is based in Menlo Park.

If this sounds interesting to you, please email me a resume and some info about your work on another robotic system.

Best regards,

Peter
